I am a visual artist currently based in Pittsburgh.

After growing up in rural Arkansas, I moved here to get a graduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University….and decided to stay. I live on the Northside and established Mere Mud, a ceramics studio in McKees Rocks, in 2024.

I think art is really the way you look at things, not what you make. Nevertheless, I feel a beguiling compulsion to make a lot of things. Although I consider ceramics my primary medium, I also enjoy painting, photography, and sculpture. When I’n not making art, I enjoy biking, all three Pittsburgh rivers, and working at a software research institute.

Posters and collateral for a limited run of my colleague’s one-man play, Artem.
